This wonderful cake was what I served my mother on mother's day, and it was a huge hit with the entire family.
Creating this cake was an interesting experience. The fact that no grocer in the Metro area knew what marzipan was, made finding the ingredients interesting. Also, if you ever make this recipe I suggest you read into how to handle marzipan, because I just dove right in, and found out too late I had no idea what I was doing. Overall, I think the cake worked out very well, and even though I don’t have the recipe for you, simply goggling Swedish Prinsesstårta should help you come up with a recipe.
